A Star* in Laced Plumb Perfection

You ever have one of those days when you just throw together an outfit without any thought and it ends up being one of your faves? That's what happened to me today!! This is the first time I wore this shirt. I got it off the clearance rack at Burlington Coat Factory several months ago, just because it was $7.00 and it was a pretty plum color! You know purple is my fave! Well, the reason I fell in love with this outfit, is because its easy and comfortable and I can go from the office to happy hour, with the little bit of black lace.

I got caught int he rain with this one, but I had to model my new purse that I got this weekend at JCP for $17 reg. price $70.00.  Its a Relic purse with abstract poppies. It is perfect for me because instead of long and deep its wide and shallow, so I can't lose things that easily in here. And take notice of the plum in particular!

Design Star "Project of the Week"

Via
The project of the week, for me, were the white washed floors in Kevin and Cathy's room. Even thought the before and after is awesome, this room overall was fair. I hated the blue, but overall the floors made the room for me! I really was not impressed with any of the rooms, but there were some great refurbished furniture projects.

Congratulations Polk County Dominators

My girls just competed in the ISA World Series Tournament this past weekend for 12U fast-pitch softball where they won 3rd place. They fought hard, just missing their chance to go to the championship game by ONE point after two rounds of "Texas Tie-Breaker!"

These particular team is breaking records because they are the first minority softball team and they are FIERCE because they bring home a souvenir in every tournament they play!

Bree, my oldest is second to the left on the bottom row (NOT SMILING!!) and Ty, my second oldest is on the far right bottom row (WITH HAIR IN THE FACE!!).  Brishonne plays third a Tyshonne is a awesome outfielder playing in either left, right or center-field.

Congratulations to Anizya Vargas, Victoria Gonzalez, Bianey Jurado, Angelica Hernandez, Marisha Bullard, Jasmine Bradley, Brandice Boatwright and ShaQuoya Williams. Every girl plays a vital role in every game!!! On to the next girlzzzz!
