What I'm Peepin!

I have been working on putting my sitting area for the last month and making some purchases in order to get it put together for the holidays. I have only gotten as far as making my chair purchases and my faux fireplace being installed which has made for a delightful transformation so far. Now I am peepin out some decorative elements with color.

So I am looking into pillows from etsy. The first is an ikat, because I just think everyone needs a little ikat in their lives. Its just a classic pattern just like the leopard which I plan to put on my slipper chairs pictured above. And then the solid chartreuse and ground it all.

So here is my layout above. Of course this may changes a few times before I settle on something or it may never, who knows...because design is never done! Also pictured is where I plan to place the pillows.

Above is my recent purchase... a teal linen tufted ottoman which is due to arrive on the 16th of January, so excited!  I still have to create my art for above the fireplace and find a really nice sconce like the one pictures in the mood board above. Really happy that is coming together!
